or perhaps the local tea was not cancelled Smashed??? Turns out a few 'elite' tea goers decided to have their own tea after posting false rumors of its demise on the blog. Only discovered by us lower class by wandering by the usual site on the way home. Perhaps we change the Blog motto to For Me to Know and for You to Not Know or For you to Find out on Your Own......

Or MAYBE it was an emergency meeting of the Committee... Certainly it was not a tea in the usual sense. Note the lack of food. Note the slap-dash construction. Note the lack of a crowd.
Perhaps non-cognoscenti should not jump to wild conclusions.
