Albeit a bit late.
Rumor has it that JL from GSI, feeling sheepish about his recent absentmindedness, has this year declared a makeup EP day, to be held in Waltham in December. This is due tonot including certain former compatriots in this year's formal celebration of EP day NOT HOLDING EP DAY AT ALL, held without fail the Thursday before Thanksgiving.

JL totally lamed out and did not show for the rescheduled EP day. The thought of rescheduling an EP day is lame enough even if he had showed up. We have determined we can no longer allow JL to control EP day in the future. Next year, a proper EP day will be held on its correct date and we shall invite JL to attend. It's all about leadership and tradition.
So although EP day was not really held, we did wander through the blizzard to have a lunch at the "one" restaurant down the street. EP veterans JT, PG, and WL were there along with Newbies NR, NT, and QN. A good time was had but no attempt to call it EP day was made cause it just ain't right to have it on the wrong day.

I guess EP day just wasn't meant to be this year. Maybe we can meet at On the Border this week, say Thursday?"
A Mexican food replacement but definitely not EP day...........
