ED has favored us with Champagne for today's tea. I wonder why?
Could it be he has something to celebrate, or it could just be an irrational patent celebration.

Hi y'all! Sorry I haven't stopped by much lately. How's everyone doing?!!
Everybody's fine.
We're in vacation season now (Smashed is off to Ottawa next week), all the staff wives who were pregnant have delivered happily and successfully, and we're awaiting our next round of funding, any day now.
(Let's hope this doesn't jinx it)...
Glad to hear everyone is well. Is Smashed Canadian or just visiting our friends to the north?
Smashed is American, of Canadian extraction. His Father's people came from "near three rivers" in Quebec. They also spent some time in Fall River.
Mom's folks came from Ireland. Aran Island and County Cork. Also some time in Southie, then Wrentham.
