Martini, anyone?

The Committee has decided that for Tea today we'll be living dangerously and serving a particularly loathesome concoction. Join us at 4:00?

While it'd be nice to meet you, and I hope to, someday, I don't think that today's the day.

We hold these things at our company, and we're breaking a taboo with this one. I don't think that I could invite you here in any event - at least not without having you sign an NDA.

We'll have to hold one of our Teas off-site sometime soon, and see what develops.

Who knew that a simple tea could result in so much trouble...

First, the good news: NR, JT, T and ED had their olives popped, so to speak, as it was their first encounter with the conical draft.

The bad news is that RD had wanted NR to have her first one with him. Smashed is in a world of trouble. RD now speaks of having a martini with NR in a limosine. Smashed wonders if he won't be in the trunk, wearing some cement galoshes.

Stay tuned.

I'll sign an NDA. It's unlikely we work in the same line of business. And if so, great -- contracting position for AG!

And what's up with drinking at work? Isn't that a no no with your HR dept? If not -- application for employment, NOW!

RD is the head honcho here. (Well, one of them, at least). NR is our Director of something or other. NR has a lot of pull with RD. If NR wants to have a party Friday afternoons near the end of a long, stressful work week, then RD permits it. Smashed and others certainly don't object.

Since NR is Russian (*and* a US citizen now), we have a little superlative Vodka and little bit nosh at these parties. (But only during the Winter - other seasons we must imbibe other things - thus the announcements here).

As far as what we do - that might be too much to talk about in this forum...
