Penultimate Day
Well, it's a quiet day here, the Thursday before the great evacuation of RN and QN to parts unspecified. Please, don't forget to write - or at lest email occasionally.
RA and NT got their vehicles inspected within minutes of each other.
The only other item of note was that SM, LL, NR, and CC got together and went out for lunch today. Menfolk, be very afraid! Something is definitely up...

Crushed
Crushed, crushed, crushed.
Not only is QN absconding to the west coast as of the end of the month, but RN (no relation) is leaving for parts unknown, too. It's not going to be the same, without them dropping by on Friday to not drink with us. Who will feed the Squirrels or the Blue Jays? Will we have to reinstall the Dunkin Donuts wall - and never use his cube again? Will we have to run the dark blue lab coats up to the rafters and retire her number?
July is the new cruelest month.
I suppose we'll have to cheer up in time for the Quan Voyage Party - and will have to think of something to do for RN, too.

They *took* the Pizza Boxes?
Just when you get used to the idea that the cleaning staff is doing a good job - despite not really recycling the paper in the blue recycling bins, this goes and happens.
RD and RA go to all the trouble of setting up a welcoming return for RS, and what happens? They *take* the pizza boxes! It ruined the whole effect...
Welcome back anyway, RS. We'll have to tray again on a non-cleaning night...

Happy Fifth!
Today marks Independence day for Algeria (1962, from France) and Cape Verde (1975, from Portugal).
According to my source, that's it for Independence Days until July 9, when Argentina (1816, from Spain) celebrates theirs.

Happy Fourth!
Happy Fourth of July. I hope everyone has their fill of burgers and dogs.
Only 10 days till Bastille Day - we'll have to storm somthing that day.
Oh, and Peace Dawg...
